The mobile lab was a small highly portable set of sample analysis equipment and computers that was housed in a couple of rugged but portable cases for field use where rapid field analysis of samples is required during a mission, this is done so by using one of at least two sample ports which enable the analysis of samples the results of which are displayed on a smallish screen when they are ready having been processed by the scientific and analysis equipment of the mobile lab.

History

Season 1

Episode 1x11 - "Instinct": The mobile lab it was used during the attempt to capture the blattella asahinai sapien. Henry Foss used the mobile lab to try and analyze the samples collected earlier to unsuccessfully try to narrow down the search area, however due to the presence of a second Blattella asahinai sapien and possible interference from the nest this was inaccurate. The mobile lab was built into a travel crate and has a screen to show results, as well as potentially two or three sample ports for different types of sample analysis with each sample port being for a different type of analysis.
